LaManchas are a type of Dairy Goat that can come in any color or combination of colors.  The Most notable feature is their short ears.  Most LaMancha breeders will tell you they get a lot of poeople that ask why they cut their goat's ears off.  We do not cut their ears, they are born that way.  Some have shorter ears that are 1" - 2" in length, they are called elf ears.  Others have even shorter ears, less than an inch to almost non-existant, these are called gopher ears.  The only LaMancha bucks allowed to be registered by the American Dairy Goat Association are the ones with gopher ears.
Nubians are another type of Dairy Goat.  They are probably one of the most popular and most memorable breeds of dairy goats.  The are most noted for their long floppy ears and Roman noses.  They also have distictive voices.
Saanens are a type of dairy goat.  Their most noteable feature is their color.  Most Saanens are white but  they can be cream colored as well.  They tend to be strong willed towards other goats yet mild mannered with humans.  They are more productive dairy goats.
Cookie has yet to have her first kid, but we are still hoping.
